With over 30 years of hands-on roofing experience, Randy Pickle saw firsthand the need for a roofing company that put people first. After working with large “big-box” roofing companies and feeling the frustration of seeing clients treated like numbers, he decided to make a change.
In 2012, Randy launched Pickle Roofing Solutions to give his community the quality, care, and personal attention they deserve. What began as a one-person mission has grown into a dedicated team of local professionals who share Randy’s commitment to integrity and excellence.

Randy Pickle
CEO
Spending quality time with family has always been one of my greatest joys. Whether it’s a big family get-together or a relaxing vacation, those moments are what matter most. I love traveling with Dana and our close friends, whether we’re off on a quick weekend getaway or exploring someplace new and far from home. Faith is a big part of my life too, and being involved in church and worship services keeps me grounded. I also really enjoy time on the golf course with friends. Sometimes it’s about the game, but more often it’s about the laughs and the company. When I get the chance, I’m out hunting or fishing with the same group of buddies I’ve known since grade school. And if there’s live Texas music playing in a small venue, you can bet I’ll be there.
McDowell Pickle
Executive Vice President
I really enjoy watching sports and spending time with friends. It’s always better when you’re sharing the moment with good company. Golf is one of my favorite ways to unwind, especially when the weather’s nice. I also like getting in a good workout at the gym to stay active. When it’s time to relax, I’ll pick up a good book or jump into a video game, it’s the perfect way to recharge after a busy day.
Travis Dowell
General Manager
Travis values doing the right thing in every situation, both professionally and personally. On Sundays, you’ll find him at church, staying grounded in his faith. When he’s not helping homeowners protect their roofs, he enjoys spending time with his new grandchild and hitting the golf course whenever he gets the chance. For him, time spent with family and friends is invaluable. Life is short, and every moment should be cherished.
Barb Haka
Office Manager
Barb is the backbone of Pickle Roofing, the steady hand everyone leans on. She lights up when she talks about her grandbabies and never misses a chance to show up for family. Loyal to the core, she is the friend who brings a casserole, a ride, or a shoulder, whatever you need. Come football season, the Texas Tech flag goes up and she is all smiles.
Frank Peterson
Operations Manager
Frank is a minister who remembers your story and checks in to see how it turned out. Before ministry he was an engineer, so he loves a good plan and tools that actually work. He is happiest with his family around the table, talking about the week and laughing hard. If you call, he will show up with a prayer and all the time you need.
Matt Deery
Director of Sales
Family comes first to Matt. Most evenings he is with his fiancé and their dog. He is happiest with a tee time on the calendar and dinner sizzling on the grill. After the day winds down, he relaxes with a video game or watching one of his favorite shows.
Carlos Olortegui
Maintenance Manager
He’s all about living life to the fullest. Whether it’s chasing adrenaline with outdoor adventures, making memories with family and friends, or starting his week off right at church every Sunday. His energy is contagious, and his commitment to doing the right thing shows up both on and off the job. He brings a passionate, purpose-driven attitude to the Pickle Roofing team every day.
David Gonzalez

When he’s not on the roof, you’ll probably find him outdoors., fishing at the lake, out in the woods hunting, or just enjoying a quiet weekend with his family. He’s also known to unwind with a good video game now and then. A true team player, he brings the same focus and dedication to our crew that he does to everything he enjoys outside of work
Jorge Martinez
Project Manager
Jorge is a college student working hard toward his degree. When he takes a break, he jumps into video games with friends.
Music is his reset, switching between guitar and piano depending on the mood. Quiet, kind, and steady, he is the friend who shows up no matter what.
